Care Instructions

Every MadameOttoman bag is handcrafted using restored fragments of damaged antique kilims. As a result, it should be cared for like any fine vintage textile.

• Avoid exposing the bag to excessive moisture whenever possible. If it becomes wet, a temporary natural odor may occur but can easily be removed by allowing the bag to air dry.
• If stained, clean the affected area as soon as possible using a soft cloth, lukewarm water, and mild soap. Do not use bleach or harsh chemical cleaners.
• When storing the bag for extended periods, keep it in a cool, dry place away from humidity. Since antique wool textiles can attract moths, we recommend storing it with lavender sachets or moth repellent.
