Care Instructions

Every MadameOttoman bag is made using restored fragments of damaged antique kilims. As a result, it should be cared for in the same way as a vintage textile.

• Avoid exposing the bag to excessive moisture whenever possible. If it becomes wet, a temporary natural odor may develop, which can easily be eliminated by allowing the bag to air dry.
• If the bag gets stained, clean it as soon as possible. Gently wipe the affected area with a soft cloth dampened with lukewarm water and mild soap. Do not use bleach or harsh chemical cleaners.
• When storing the bag for extended periods, keep it in a cool, dry place away from humidity. Since antique wool textiles can attract moths, we recommend storing it with lavender sachets or moth repellents.
